Brian Potter joined Beatty Bangle Strama in July 2009 as an associate in the firm’s litigation section. Brian brings a strong work ethic and high level of enthusiasm towards every case and his representation of every client. While Brian’s litigation practice covers a broad range of subject matters, it centers on business disputes, commercial lease disputes, automotive warranty litigation, sports law, construction and bankruptcy. Brian represents clients in variety of industries, including construction, automobile manufacturers and dealers, and professional sports.

Business and Commercial Litigation. Brian represents individuals and business entities in a wide range of areas. Examples include:
- Representation of clients in various aspects of contract disputes, including business partnerships and commercial tenancies.
- Representation of professional sports entities in litigation and arbitration.
Construction. Brian represents subcontractors and design professionals in various aspects of the construction industry. Examples include:
- Representation of general contractors and subcontractors in construction defect disputes in commercial and multi-family contexts.
- Representation of clients in construction contract arbitrations.
- Representation of clients in collection efforts against individuals and entities.
- Mechanic’s liens.
Automotive Industry. Brian currently represents a major automobile manufacturer and dealers in various aspects of warranty litigation. Examples include:
- Defense of automobile manufacturer and dealers in warranty disputes and deceptive trade practices claims.
- Representation of clients in disputes relating to manufacturer and dealer relations.
- Representation of clients before the Texas Department of Transportation.
Bankruptcy. Brian has represented numerous lending institutions and creditors in bankruptcy matters, primarily focusing on collection of debts and enforcement of security interests.
